Plan A Plans B
May use any combination of these options to modify or replace Plan A:
  1. (5 minutes)
General intro - Why we are here, what we're going to do.
How and why the eClips were recorded: explain the two questions used in the interviews, show the Web page and invite participants to select one of the eClips listed there for playing.  Explain that participants will be asked to consider and discuss their own answers to the two questions.

  2. (2-4 minutes)
Play the eClip that is selected

  3. (7 minutes)
    Think-Pair-Share

  4. (3 minutes)
Summarize any major conclusions emerging and suggest how to build on them.  Acknowledge any major or surprising differences of opinion.  Make one or two suggestions (preferably, by repeating those heard from participants) for dealing respectfully and usefully with differences or disagreements.  Make a recommendation about extending this activity - or not.

  5. (2 minutes)
    Collect feedback

  6. (1 minute)
Invite reflection about the structure and techniques used in this BHW

  1. Don't use an eClip;  instead, describe some of the different answers that were obtained in those eClips - answers to the two questionsThis requires the facilitator/leader to play and "watch" the eClips in advance.

  2. Develop, produce, and publish your own video-recorded answers to the two questions;  offer your own introduction.

  3. Print, duplicate, and distribute copies of the Printable Version of Questions (PDF) to each participant.
