This set of (5-10 "simple")
steps worked with a Windows PC running Windows XP
and having a free version of QuickTime available for
playing audio files. Worked without logging in to
Gabcast!
In the search
window, enter "Fundamental" or "Fundamental
Questions" - two words
In the list of
channels that meet your search criteria, click
on the name of the channel that you want:
"Fundamental Questions July 2007"
Click on the orange
"play" button for one of the episodes you would
like to hear and download
ALTERNATIVE A:
§WHILE THE EPISODE IS
PLAYING, click on "Download File"
§This opened QuickTime
on my computer and began playing the episode. Click
on the File pull-down menu and then click on "Save
Page As "
§Enter whatever name you
want for your copy of this file, but leave the MP3
extension. Click the "Save" button at the lower
right of this window.
6. ALTERNATIVE B:
§If using Foxfire as
your browser, right click on the "download" icon.
Then click on "save link as" and modify the name
and location for saving the MP3 file. Click OK
§If using Internet
Explorer as your browser, right click on the
"download" icon then click on "save target as" and
modify the name and location for saving the MP3
file. Click OK
Now, when you
look on your computer in the location to which you
saved this file, you should fine an MP3 file copy of
the episode you selected from Gabcast. You can use
this file to build an eClip or do whatever else you
like to do with audio files! Good luck.
