Permissions, Restrictions, and Disclaimers

These permissions and restrictions are provided to guide your usage of eClips, Brief Hybrid Workshops, and Brief Hybrid Teaching/Learning Modules that have been developed by and for the TLT Group.  We offer different permissions/restrictions for individuals, for groups running no-fee workshops, and groups offering activities that require a fee.

Please consider using the text and links below to indicate your own preferences or requirements about subsequent usage and attribution of your own work. 

We also hope you will consider using something like the "Share it Forward" license suggested by Creative Commons.

I.  Use of these slides and related resources by individuals for themselves
In addition to the terms of the "Share it Forward" license suggested by Creative Commons: 

  • The TLT Group's intention is that anyone may use this set of slides and related resources directly for personal, individual, educational purposes or to make others aware of the existence and availability of the slides and related resources.

  • Do not modify these materials when informing others about them.

  • Please be sure that others will see clear attribution to the TLT Group as the source and that the copyright holder is the TLT Group.

  • Include the URL for (or a direct link to) our Website: www.tltgroup.org.

II.  Use of these slides and related resources as part of a group activity (e.g., a workshop) for which no fees are collected by those running the activity.

The TLT Group, copyright holder, gives permission to use this set of slides and related resources with a group – e.g., when running a workshop – if no fees are being collected and ONLY if you have met one of more of the following three conditions - in addition to the terms of the "Share it Forward" license suggested by Creative Commons:
 

  • Your institution is currently a TLT Group Subscriber

  • You are currently an individual member of the TLT Group

  • You have requested and obtained explicit permission from the TLT Group

In addition, we require that you:

  • Include the URL for or a direct link to our Website: www.tltgroup.org.

  • Clearly indicate how to find the original source if you modify or adapt this material – and clearly indicate that you have done so.  And, since the Web is constantly changing, clearly indicate the latest date when you confirmed that the links or instructions for finding the original source actually worked!

  • Clearly attribute the source and copyright holder as the TLT Group.
