This session is intended
to launch or advance intra-institutional
collaboration for the improvement of undergraduate
information literacy.
Information Literacy - by
almost any name and any definition - is more
important than ever for undergraduate education.
Faculty members, librarians, IT
professionals and other academic leaders can
best advance Information Literacy
at their own colleges and universities by
working together and by using ACRL's "Characteristics
of Programs of Information Literacy that
Illustrate Best Practices: A Guideline." |
We care about
helping undergraduate students to use information
resources more comfortably, effectively,
efficiently, confidently, and respectfully - by
providing resources and support for those trying to
work together toward this goal. |

What can facilitate or
impede collaboration for the improvement of
information literacy at our institution?
TMI/TMO/TLT = Too much information. Too many
options. Too little Time |
