I.  Orientation/Intro (4 Minutes)

  • Info Lit began with (and is still often led by) librarians but it is now essential to engage many professionals in many roles to achieve significant advances in information literacy for undergraduate students.
  • Explain origin and recommended use of the ten categories from the ACRL Best Practices in Information Literacy Guidelines.
  • Explain the Collaboration Category and its implications and opportunities.
  • [OPTIONAL:  Introduce new exploratory collaborative development project intended to increase awareness and use of the ten categories by producing very brief "eClips" and "Brief Hybrid Workshops."]
