Information Literacy - by almost any name and any definition - is more important than ever for undergraduate education.  Faculty members, librarians, IT professionals and other academic leaders can best advance Information Literacy at their own colleges and universities by working together and by using ACRL's "Characteristics of Programs of Information Literacy that Illustrate Best Practices: A Guideline."   This session is intended to launch or advance intra-institutional collaboration for the improvement of undergraduate information literacy.

We care about helping undergraduate students to use information resources more comfortably, effectively, efficiently, confidently, and respectfully - by providing resources and support for those trying to work together toward this goal.
