The draft is presented here in anticipation of a hearing at the ALA Mid-winter Conference.  The hearing will be held on Saturday afternoon, January 25 from 4:30 to 6:00 PM.  This will be an opportunity for membership input and discussion of the document before a final version is presented to various bodies –the ACRL Standards and Guidelines Committee and finally the ACRL Board of Directors–  for approval.

Background information on the project, including a full description of the process and the various drafts of the Characteristics of Best Practice in Information Literacy Programming is available on the web beginning at http://www.ala.org/acrl/nili/bestprac.html

In put and inquiries can also be communicated via e-mail to Tom Kirk at kirkto@Earlham.edu.
