Technical Requirements
Thank you
for your interest in the TLT Group Online Institute!
We are very dedicated to our Online
Institute Workshops, Events, and Series. We strive to bring to
you events which are interactive, engaging, resourceful and
fun. We encourage groups of faculty and staff from the same
institutions to join us for our online workshops and to bring
ideas back to their institutions. We understand that you are
taking time out of your busy schedule and value your
participation highly.
Being a small, non-profit organization, we
know there are bumps along the way, especially when using
technology for the first time, or even the 100th! By following
our directions as closely as possible and taking the time to
get prepared in advance of each session, you can save time and
headaches in the long run. We try to make our directions as
clear as possible, but if you cannot follow them or they do
not make sense to you, please let us know. We are always
looking for ways to improve the Online Institute.
The TLT Group cannot guarantee assistance
with technology during an event. Usually, we have only one TLT
Group staff member working on an event, so they may be
assisting someone else. By preparing for the event 24 hours in
advance, checking your technology platform, and using the same
computer you used for the technology checks, you can help
eliminate some of the technology issues that may arise. Also,
if you do not get an email from us at least five hours before an
event, please let us know.
