Concetta M. Stewart, Ph.D.

Temple University
Concetta M. Stewart is a faculty member in the School of
Communications and Theater at Temple University, where she
teaches courses in telecommunications, policy and
organizational communication. Dr. Stewart is also a member
of the Graduate Faculty in Mass Media and Communications. In
addition, she holds an appointment as Faculty Fellow
reporting to the Provost and formerly lead the University's
"Teaching, Learning and Technology" Roundtable and is a
Senior Associate for The TLT Group.
She
received her Ph.D. in Communication and Information Studies
from Rutgers University, where she also served as a Visiting
Lecturer and as an Advisory Committee Member for the
development of the Master's Program in Communication and
Information Studies under a FIPSE grant. She also worked at
AT&T for twelve years at its corporate headquarters, holding
positions in international market development and planning,
customer and market research, and product management and
introduction.
She
has presented and published on a variety of topics related
to the introduction, evaluation and impact of communication
and information technology. In addition, she has served on
the editorial boards of several journals including Academy
of Management Executive, Journal of Applied Communication
Research, and Studies in Technological Innovation and Human
Resources.
