Selections/Collections
of Instructional Resources
If You Can’t Have A Personal Internet-Savvy Librarian
Steven
W. Gilbert, The TLT Group
The continuing proliferation of
attractive instructional options and resources – and collections of them
-- accessible on the Web present both new possibilities and new
challenges for advancing teaching and learning with technology. New
structures, new services, and new efforts are needed to take full
advantage of this confusing flood. Web-based collections, repositories,
and referatories of instructional resources provide some glimmers of
hope, but we need to improve their quality, accessibility, and the
support services surrounding them.
