Background

 

  • "Development and Adaptation of the Seven Principles of Good Practice in Undergraduate Education," Arthur Chickering and Zelda Gamson. How the seven principles were developed and uses made of them in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
  • The Web sites on The Seven Principles change frequently. Ted Panitz, a professor of mathematics and engineering at Cape Cod Community College, has launched a website that lists online resources related to the seven principles.  Or you can do a Web search on "seven principles" and "Chickering" to look for recent materials.
