Here are some ways to attract more support once your institution subscribes:

  • Gather your TLT Roundtable (or an ad hoc group that includes, for example, representatives from faculty development, center for teaching excellence, Information Technology, Library (especially staff interested in information literacy), Chief Academic Officer's office, Distance Learning, facilities planning, Institutional Research, the offices responsible for student course evaluation, faculty who have a history of using technology and helping their colleagues, and any major grants (current or in prospect) that involve teaching and learning with technology.  We can provide a briefing by phone about how they each can use the free benefits of your subscription, and respond to questions.

  • Share the cost of the subscription with other stakeholders; create an oversight team of representatives from those offices.that meets every few months to discuss how the subscription has been used so far, and how to get more value for your money.

  • Develop a plan for using the subscription: here's a template you could adapt in developing a list of stakeholders and then, together, describing your goals and how to reach them. If you'd like to help us improve the template, let us know; it was created with GoogleDocs so we can make you a 'collaborator' and you can change it yourself.
