Steve
Gilbert and Steve Ehrmann moderate TLT-SWG, a
nationally recognized forum focusing on issues of teaching, learning, technology, and
collaborative change. TLT-SWG can be used in many media, including a
regular e-mail, YouTube, iTunes, and other formats. We welcome your participation
and your suggestions!
Steve
Ehrmann, Director of The Flashlight Program, edits a free e-newsletter on evaluation of educational uses of technology called F-LIGHT.
We welcome new articles that summarize your formal and informal studies of
educational uses of technology. F-LIGHT reports on assessments and
evaluations that were worth doing, and that you might want to do, too.
Sign up and get an e-mail notice each time a new issue appears (F-LIGHT
is published several times/year).
The "Overloaditorium"
is a specialized blog, moderated by Steve Gilbert, where you can talk with
him about the nature and sources of overload in academic life, especially
your own.
Looking for software that's easy to use, ideas for
improving learning that are easy to adapt? Have one you'd like to
tell other folks about? We call those Low
Threshold Applications/Activities (LTAs). Check out The "LTA
of the Week" feature, edited by Charles Ansorge of the University of
Nebraska. This blog was designed for us by Alan Levine of the Maricopa
Community Colleges and is hosted by Maricopa. Because it's a blog, you can
subscribe, write comments, and ask questions about the LTAs that have been posted, as
well as submitting your own LTAs.
The
TLT Group also offers webcasts and online workshops on topics of
interest. Check our "Events and
Registration" page or watch your TLT-SWG and F-LIGHT mail for notices.
